Secondary School

The Secondary School experience at SMGS is about expanding our students' horizons, both in their specialist area of study (when they get to Senior Secondary) and more generally in terms of their awareness of the world and their personal development.

We also offer a dual Nigerian/British curriculum in the secondary school.  Students in the Senior Secondary have the option to study for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

SMGS Secondary School

SMGS has a strong tradition of enabling each child reach their true potential. This has been achieved through a combination of excellent teaching, superb facilities and a strong pastoral care system.

Smaller class sizes

Our student-teacher ratio is 15 to 1 and we have enforced this smaller class size to facilitate the learning needs of each individual student.  Students are also encouraged to ask questions.

Pastoral care

Our secondary school students are encouraged and nurtured to grow academically, develop interests in specific subject areas and to aspire for their absolute best in everything that they do.

Our school office is open during the week and for a few hours on Saturday
